On 10-21 November, COP30 will gather world leaders and climate actors to Belém, Brazil to discuss the state of climate change.

The world will gather in Belém for the 30th UN Climate Conference (COP30), which is a milestone moment in history. A decade has passed since the Paris Agreement, which has been a decade marked by urgency, high ambition and action.

COP30 is expected to focus on the implementation of climate plans and agreements, including an implementation of the Baku to Belém Roadmap for the new financing goal, aiming to scale up climate finance up to 1.3 trillion USD. The Conference will also focus on adaptation and scaling up nature-positive climate solutions.

NDF continues to advance Nordic values and priorities, by ensuring our financing goes to the most impactful projects accelerating climate action. Nordic leadership in climate action is a strength, and NDF showcases the Nordic region’s agility and commitment to international cooperation as a model for global action.

"The Nordic countries play a crucial role in the global climate finance landscape. Renowned for pioneering in sustainability and catalytic climate solutions, we continue to lead by example. At NDF, we channel this leadership into action, by financing projects where it is expected to have the highest impact,” says Satu Santala, NDF Managing Director.

Partnerships are key to accelerate climate action

At the Nordic Pavilion at COP30, NDF will bring partners together around innovative climate solutions and showcase tangible contributions to a sustainable future. At the events we organise, we will shed light on our approach to strategically using our catalytic early-stage financing to scale up innovative climate solutions.
