We welcome new Program Managers to NDF

Within the last month, NDF’s welcomed two new staff members to strengthen the Portfolio Origination & Management department.
Karin Lindblad
Karin has worked in the field of development cooperation for 25 years, collaborating with private and public actors, primarily the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the European Commission, in various roles within both institutions. A devoted Blended Finance expert, she led and supported several key guarantee transactions during her six years at the Sida Guarantee Unit. Most recently, Karin joined NDF from the Embassy of Sweden in Rwanda, where she was responsible for climate and environmental issues. Karin is a Swedish national and holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Gothenburg.
“There is an urgent need to scale up our efforts to mitigate climate change and improve adaptation capacity around the world. I know NDF for its agile work and experienced team and I am looking forward to contribute,” says Karin.
Morten Holm van Donk
Morten joins NDF after working in Africa and Asia for 17 years, during which he implemented projects relating to water and sanitation, the circular economy, and energy. Most recently, he worked in Pretoria on an energy programme with the South African government and authorities. Originally from Denmark, Morten speaks English, Danish and Dutch, as well as some Spanish and Kiswahili. He holds a Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences, specialising in Rural Development and Land Use in Developing Countries, which he later complemented with a Diploma of Leadership and Cross-Cultural Management.
“I am pleased to contribute to the work of NDF influencing and co-designing climate finance funds for developing and emerging economies, and in strengthening the public governance of natural resources. I am glad to be working alongside a team of dedicated colleagues, representing the Nordic countries and values abroad,” says Morten.
